Safe Affected Families and Environment (SAFE) was pleased to participate in the one-day Universal Periodic Review (UPR) Consultation on Child Rights, organized by the CSOs Task Force on 25 September 2025 at Green Paradise Hotel in Mogadishu.
The consultation provided an important platform for civil society organizations to review progress, identify key child rights priorities, and contribute to joint recommendations for Somalia’s upcoming UPR process.
SAFE remains committed to promoting child rights, protection, inclusion, and meaningful civil society participation in national human rights processes.
Together, we can strengthen accountability and advance a safer, more inclusive future where every child’s rights are respected and protected.
